While attending John Caroll, Corinne worked as a volunteer for the local domestic violence shelter where she worked the hotline weekly, served as a translator (Spanish) for police, and developed an outreach program for teens by speaking about domestic violence at high schools throughout Cuyahoga County. She also studied at the I.T.E.S.M. in Mexico and the Universidat de Valencia in Spain, and she interned as a juvenile probation officer at Parmadale, a home for high-risk juveniles in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Corinne graduated from John Carroll University with a B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis on Spanish and Criminology. Corinne obtained her law degree from Capital University Law School in May of 1996. While attending Capital, Corinne worked as a Judicial Extern for the Franklin County Domestic Court and she clerked for Attorneys Mark Serrott and Thomas Bolen until her admission to the Ohio bar in November of 1996. As an attorney, Corinne has limited her practice largely to family law, adoption, and juvenile court issues.
